News Desk: General Secretary of Awami League and Minister of Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader said that big countries of the world could not interfere in the elections of Bangladesh because India was on their side. He said this at the biennial conference of Bangladesh Puja Celebration Parishad at Dhakeshwari National Temple in the capital on Saturday (March 16) morning.

Obaidul Quader said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have broken the long-standing wall of suspicion and mistrust between Bangladesh and India. He has peacefully resolved the 68-year-old problem in return for good relations with India. There was a discussion about the water of the same river including Teesta. The solution to this must be patience. It is not possible to solve the problem by making the relations with India bitter.

Awami League general secretary also said that the India Out campaign on social media is not appropriate. Why is the anti-India attitude being tried to awaken the question? It is a shield for propaganda by those who did not come to the polls. When the Awami League was in power, a faction engaged in opposition to India. They are still doing it. Regarding the syndicate in the market, he said, is the syndicate good? Why should the government support the syndicate?

The Syndicate has to find the source of whatever it is. Real truth should be found out and appropriate action should be taken. Government is active here. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is a worthy leader to solve the crisis. So he called for patience.

Obaidul Quader said to the traditional religious people of the country, the concept of minority is a shackle of slavery. must be broken. Why do slavery? What does the constitution of Bangladesh say? Why think of themselves as a minority? People of all religions contributed equally to the independence of Bangladesh. He further said in this regard that even if those involved in land grabbing and temple vandalism of Hindus have political identity, they are common enemies of all, miscreants. They have to be united. At this time, referring to Sheikh Hasina's government as a minority-friendly government, the minister said that the Awami League government is there as long as it is there. Awami League was there before, still is and will be in the future. If another party comes to power, the situation will be like 2001 again.
