Sheikh Hasina has given opportunity to empower women in all fields: Nashim

News Desk: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given opportunity to empower women in all areas of the country, Awami League Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nashim MP said that this trend will continue.

He said this at the opening ceremony of the annual sports competition at Motijheel Government Girls High School on Monday (February 5) morning.

Nashim said, 'Just as women have played an important role in various achievements of the country, the current students will play a role in moving the country forward. Sheikh Hasina has given opportunity to empower women in all fields. I hope that trend will continue.'

"Therefore, care should be taken that they do not get attracted to militancy and spoil the image of the country", added this joint general secretary of Awami League.

Bahauddin Nashim also said, 'Dhaka is the heart of eight capitals. It has to be done smart. I am working towards that goal.

He said, we are not worried about any movement of BNP. They have lost public support by tarnishing the image of the country by protesting to foreigners. The people did not respond to the previous agitations and will not respond to them in the future. And in any case, there is no movement by burning people and lifting railway lines. Let them protest peacefully and if the people respond then it is better. We have dealt with their streets peacefully before. I will do it in the future.
