Annual sports competition of Millennium Scholastic School and College was held at Bogra

Bogra representative: Inter-house annual sports competition and prize distribution ceremony of Millennium Scholastic School and College was held in Bogra with colorful decorations. Various attractive displays of students, well-decorated march past, participation of students in the final sports competition and distribution of prizes impressed everyone on the ground of the institution from Sunday afternoon.

Major General Md. Khaled Al-Mamun, PBGM, NDC, PSC, GOC of 11 Infantry Division and Bogra Area Commander inaugurated the event by blowing balloons and festoons as the chief guest. In the speech of the chief guest, he mentioned the need for institutional studies as well as co-educational programs to develop students as competent and humane people. He said that the creative co-education program will give us a new generation full of indomitable vitality who will take our beloved Bangladesh forward. 

Nahid Sharmin was present as a special guest in the event. Brigadier General Sufi Md. Ataur Rahman NDC, PSC, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Millennium Scholastic School and College was also present. 

Also present among others were the principal, vice-principal, teaching staff, high-ranking military officers of Bogra Cantonment, members of the board of directors, parents and local dignitaries.

At the end of the opening session, an orderly march past of the students was held to the rhythm of music by the scouts and girls in guides of the institution, the separate groups of 4 houses of the institution, where the students were greeted by GOC Khaled Al-Mamun. Later, various sports competitions were held for students and parents. In the event, this year, the students impressed everyone by showing different techniques of dumbbell PT and the charming display done in several steps, which caught the attention of hundreds of spectators sitting around the field.

330 people participated in 55 events this year. At the end of the event, special guest Nahid Sharmin distributed the prizes among the winners.
