Teacher who sexually harassed student in Nazrul University permanently expelled

Nazrul University Representative: The 84th Special Syndicate meeting permanently expelled the accused teacher Sajan Saha and temporarily expelled Rezwan Ahmed Shubhra pending investigation of the complaint of harassment of Sayeda Sanzana Ahsana Choya, a student of Human Resource Management Department of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam University through social media.

The 84th Special Syndicate meeting was held on Thursday (March 14) at 11.30 am. The expulsion was announced through a circular after the Syndicate meeting. According to the circular, the assistant professor Mr. Sajan Saha of the department has been finally dismissed and the assistant professor Mr. Rejuan Ahmed Shubhra has been temporarily suspended due to the situation arising in the Human Resource Management department. The activities of the high-powered investigation committee formed by the university authorities will continue. The Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Soumitra Shekhar said, Nazrul University is now moving towards development. There will be no room for misdeeds. He urged the student teachers of Nazrul University to be like a family. Where all the students of the university can safely focus on the practice of knowledge. In his speech, he termed this incident as an unexpected incident and expressed hope that such incidents will never happen again in the future.

Finally, Vice-Chancellor Nazrul urged all the student teachers of the University to properly protect the honor of the University and promised to take the University to the national and international level. do Common students are satisfied with this decision of the university administration. After the verdict of the accused, ordinary students are also seen taking part in a joyous procession. which starts from the administrative building and ends in front of the Faculty of Business Administration. There the students expressed their satisfaction in front of the media and thanked the vice chancellor. It is to be noted that the ordinary students of the university have been protesting for the last 13 days in view of their demands regarding the fair investigation of this heinous incident.
