The results of SSC and equivalent exams will be published by May 11

News desk: This year's SSC and equivalent exam results may be published between May 9 and 11. President of Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and Chairman of Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar informed this information.

He said that the results are published within 60 days of the completion of the main examination. This year also the result will be published within the same time frame. We are preparing to release the result by 11th May. Prime Minister's schedule is needed to determine the final date.

Meanwhile, a member of the inter-education board coordination committee and chairman of an education board told Jago News on condition of anonymity that the SSC written examination was over on March 12. As such, the result must be published within 12 May.

He said, the work of evaluation of answer sheets has started. Examiners are also given a fixed time limit for evaluating the answer sheets. They will send to the board after evaluation. Then the inter-education board coordination committee will send the proposal for the release of the result after fixing the possible date. It is 100% likely to happen by May 11.

SSC and equivalent exams started on February 15. Students of 29 thousand 735 educational institutions took the exam in 3 thousand 700 centers across the country. This year there were 20 lakh 24 thousand 192 candidates.

On the first day, Thursday, the SSC exam started with the Bangla first paper. The written exam ends on March 12. Then the practical test was conducted between March 13-20.
