In 24 hours, 28 more people were diagnosed with corona

News desk:  In the last 24 hours, no one has died due to corona in the country. So far 29 thousand 481 people have died due to corona virus in the country. 28 people were newly identified on this day. In all, the number of infected people stands at 20 lakh 46 thousand 963.

This information was informed in a press release about Corona sent by the Health Department on Saturday (January 27) afternoon.  

It is said that 36 people including asymptomatic patients have recovered in the last 24 hours in various hospitals and homes of the country including Dhaka City. A total of 20 lakh 14 thousand 339 people have recovered so far. 432 samples were tested in 24 hours in 885 labs under government and private management across the country. So far 1 crore 56 lakh 42 thousand 719 samples have been tested.

In the last 24 hours, the detection rate of sample testing is 6.48 percent. So far, considering the sample test, the detection rate is 13.09 percent. The recovery rate for detection is 98.41 percent and the death rate for detection is 1.44 percent.

It also informed that five people have come to isolation in the last 24 hours and no one has been released from isolation. So far a total of four lakh 52 thousand 845 people have come under isolation and four lakh 23 thousand 598 people have received clearance from isolation. Currently 29 thousand 247 people are in isolation.

According to the information of the Department of Health, the first patient of corona virus was detected in the country on March 8, 2020. 10 days later, on March 18, the first person died due to corona.
