Doctors in Bogra protested the attack on the Jaintapur health complex

Bogra Correspondent:  Doctors in Bogra have organized a human chain program to protest against the brutal attack on doctors and other service providers at Jaintapur Upazila Health Complex in Sylhet, burning of government vehicles, destruction of government assets including ambulances. The human chain program calls for increasing the security of all doctors in the country and bringing the attackers to justice immediately. 

This human chain program was held in front of the Bogra District Civil Surgeon office organized by Bogra Sadar Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer's office on Monday afternoon. Bogra District Civil Surgeon Dr Mohammad Shafiul Azam, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Forum Rajshahi Divisional Committee General Secretary Dr Ashraful Islam, Bogra Forum President and Bogra Sadar Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr Samir Hossain Mishu, General Secretary Dr Sajid Hasan, Dr. Shafiq Amin Kajal and others. Health and family planning officers, doctors, nurses and health workers of different upazilas participated in it. 

At this time, the speakers said that miscreants attacked the Jaintapur Upazila Health Complex in Sylhet after four people died in a road accident on the night of January 19. During this time, they attacked the doctors-servicemen as well as damaged the government property. The medical community is afraid of it today. Apart from providing security to the doctors, the attackers were demanded to be arrested quickly. Besides, he demanded to take all necessary measures to make the workplace of doctors safe.
