Bogra PDP discussion meeting and doa mahfil on National Mourning Day

Bogra Correspondent: On the occasion of the 47th martyrdom anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Day of Mourning, a grief discussion meeting and prayer meeting was held at the office of the non-governmental organization Poverty Development Project (PDP) in Bogra on Monday afternoon. In a meeting organized on the occasion of the day with the participation of the officers and employees of the organization, the executive director of PDP Bazlur Rahman (Bappi) said that we have achieved this freedom under the leadership of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu. The Bengali nation is still suffering the irreparable loss of the indiscriminate killing of the father of the nation along with his family members in the dark of August 15, 1975. He said, as long as Bangladesh exists, there is a map of this country, there is a red green independent flag, Bangabandhu will remain in the hearts of all of Bengal and the ideals of the father of the nation will inspire us to move the country forward as a beacon. He also said that the father of the nation's ideals, political philosophy and the deep self-sacrifice of Bangabandhu and his family for the country should be conveyed to the new generation and they should work unitedly to build Bangabandhu's dream of Sonar Bangla. During the discussion meeting, members of the executive committee of the organization including the president of the organization AKM Zakir Hossain, treasurer Asadul Haque, Sohan Sheikh, Janiur Rahman, Zahidul Islam, Rabiul Farooq, Millat Hossain and local dignitaries of the area were present. At the end of the condolence meeting, the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family members who were martyred on August 15 were prayed for the well-being of the country and the decade.
