Bachchu President, Khokon General Secretary at Pabna's Santhia Municipal A-League Triennial Conference

Tofazzal Hossain, Pabna: Santhia Municipality Mayor Mahbubul Alam Bachchu has been elected President and Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Sohail Rana Khokon has been elected General Secretary of Pabna's Santhia Municipal Awami League. Former Minister of State for Home Affairs and Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Home Affairs Advocate Shamsul Haque Tuku MP addressed the conference as the chief guest under the chairmanship of Santhia Municipal Awami League President Abul Kashem Khan and General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Bachchu at Zila Parishad Auditorium on Saturday (June 18) afternoon. The three-year conference was inaugurated by Santhia Upazila Chairman and Upazila Awami League President Abdullah Al Mahmud Delwar. General Secretary of Upazila Awami League Tapan Haider Sun addressed the conference as the keynote speaker. Nazrul Islam, the organizing secretary of Upazila Awami League, spoke as a special speaker. Bera Upazila Awami League President and Municipal Mayor Asif Shams Ranjan, Pabna District Awami League Former Joint General Secretary Belayet Ali Billu, Santhia Upazila Awami League Vice President Hasan Ali Khan, Rabiul Karim Hiru, Nafiz Uddin Sarkar, Professor Golam Mortuza, Joint General Secretary Branch spoke as special guests.
