Awami League will hold a joyous procession in Chapainawabganj on the day of inauguration of Padma Bridge

Faruk Hossain, Chapainawabganj: Chapainawabganj District Awami League will celebrate the inauguration of Padma Bridge on June 25 with colorful arrangements. On that day, the party will take out a joyous procession in the district town and the common people will be made to have a sweet face. The decision was taken at a meeting of the executive committee of Jala Awami League held from 11 am on Saturday. The meeting was chaired by former MP Muha Ziaur Rahman, acting president of the district Awami League, at the party office at Pathanpara on Shaheed Manimul Haque Road in the district town. District A-League general secretary and former MP Abdul Wadudar spoke on the occasion. Samil Uddin Ahmed Shimul, Joint Secretary Md. Shariful Alam, District Awami League Member and Mayor of Chapainawabganj Municipality Md. Mokhlesur Rahman, Office Secretary Md. Arifur Reza Emon etc. Also present on the occasion were District Awami League Co-President Dr. Golam Rabbani, Syed Nazrul Islam, Deputy Editor Md. Monirul Islam, Publicity and Publication Secretary Jamal Abdul Naser Palen, Engineer Mahtabuddin and others. Besides, the 63rd founding anniversary of the Awami League will be celebrated on June 23 and it was decided to hold a discussion meeting after laying a wreath at the statue of Bangabandhu.
