Uncle killed by nephew in Lohagarh

Sohail Rana, Narail: Mohammad Rezaul Islam Patu, 54, of Talbaria village in Dighalia union of Lohagarh upazila of Narail was killed by his nephew Ijazul, 26, with a sharp weapon. Ijazul Mollah, 26, son of Afzal Mollah, got enraged when he had a quarrel with his cousin Apzal Mollah at his home on Monday (June 13) at noon. When the relatives rescued the injured Patu Mollah and took him to Lohagarh Upazila Health Complex, the doctor on duty declared him dead. According to police and local sources, a case has been pending in the court over the land of the partner for a long time. Officer-in-charge of Lohagarh Police Station Sheikh Abu Hena Milon admitted the incident and said that additional police has been deployed in the area and the environment is calm.
