News Desk: Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader has claimed that New Market and Dhaka College areas used to become battlefields every day during BNP rule.

He made the demand while addressing a function to distribute agricultural inputs among farmers on the occasion of the founding anniversary of Krishak League on Bangabandhu Avenue in the capital on Thursday.

He said while the country was moving forward at an indomitable pace on the development highway under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, an insidious mahal had risen up against the country and its people.
