The highest death record in a single day in Chittagong

News Desk: In the last 24 hours, 11 more people have died of coronavirus in the port city of Chittagong. Which is by far the highest in one day. In addition, 181 people have been identified as infected with corona. The total death toll in Chittagong district stood at 498. And the number of identities stands at 46,006. A report released by the Chittagong Civil Surgeon's Office on Sunday (April 25th) revealed this information.

Dr. Civil Surgeon. Rabbi Sheikh Fazle said that yesterday (Saturday) in different labs of Chittagong, 1,330 samples were tested and 161 people were found to have corona germs.

Of these, 141 are from the city and 30 from the upazila. In the last 24 hours, 43 people were diagnosed with corona at Fauzdarhat BITID Lab, 35 at Chittagong Medical College (CMC) Lab, 24 at Imperial Hospital Lab and 35 at Chevron Hospital Lab. At the same time, coronary infections were detected in 32 patients at the General Hospital RTRL Lab and at the Medical Center Lab.
