Meteorological office gave bad news about heatwave and hailstorm in five divisions

News Desk:  Meteorological office has said that the discomfort of the residents may increase in the heat wave in five divisions of the country. At the same time, the organization has also expressed fear that there may be hailstorm in some parts of the country. Seasonal normal low pressure is located over South Bay of Bengal. In this situation, according to the information of the Meteorological Office, till Tuesday (April 2) evening, temporary gusts or rain with wind or thunder may occur in two places of Chittagong and Sylhet divisions.

Apart from this, there may be scattered hailstorms at some places. Apart from this, the weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy skies in other parts of the country. However, at this time mild to moderate heat waves may spread over Nilphamari and Dinajpur districts of Rangpur division and Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barisal divisions.

An excess of water vapor may increase discomfort. This situation is expected to continue for the next few days. Meanwhile, on Monday (April 1), the highest temperature in the country was recorded at Ishwardi in Pabna and Mongla in Bagerhat. The temperature recorded at this place is 39 degrees Celsius. Besides, the maximum temperature in Dhaka was 37.7 degrees Celsius.
