In Cox's Bazar, 3 children sleeping in a fire were burnt to ashes

 News Desk: Three children have died in a house fire in Chakaria Upazila of Cox's Bazar. The incident took place at around 11:15 pm on Monday night at the residence of Jager Hossain Mistry in the remote Sabanghata area of ​​North Harbang of the Upazila due to an electrical short circuit.

The deceased have been identified as Jahedul Islam Jihad (12), son of Jagar Hossain Mistry of the same area, Mim Akter (10), and Mitu Moni (6). Dafadar Mohammad Shahed of Harbang Union said the fire started at around 11:15 pm from an electrical short circuit in the mud and tin tent house of Jager Hossain Mistry.

At that time three children were sleeping inside the house. The house was burnt to ashes in the fire. After the fire broke out, the locals could not save the three children despite their best efforts. They were burned to death inside the house.

Locals said Baba Jager Hossain Mistry was staying outside the area at the time of the incident. His wife Kajal was sleeping in the kitchen outside the house with her small child. Harbang Union chairman Miranul Islam said the fire brigade could not reach the spot as it was inaccessible. Police of Chakaria police station visited the spot after the incident.
