Coronavirus: Inauguration of nationwide mass immunization program

News Desk: Vaccination has started all over the country today to prevent the deadly coronavirus. This vaccine is being given in 1005 centers. Health Minister Zahid Malek inaugurated the virtual vaccination program at Mohakhali Health Building at 10 am on Sunday. At that time, the minister said, a great work has started in the country today by vaccinating against corona.

"Everyone who has been vaccinated before is healthy," he said. 3 lakh 26 thousand 13 people have registered for vaccination till 2.30 pm on Saturday. 204 teams in 50 hospitals in the capital Dhaka and 2196 teams in 955 hospitals across the country outside Dhaka will be involved in vaccination.

On this day, many Chief Justices, Ministers, State Ministers and Secretaries will be vaccinated at different centers in Dhaka. Health Minister Zahid Malek, State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain and State Minister for Disaster Management Enamul Haque will be vaccinated at Sheikh Russell Gastroliver Hospital. The Cabinet Secretary will be vaccinated at Sheikh Hasina Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery and Hospital.

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof. is getting vaccinated today. Md. 20 teachers of DU including Akhtaruzzaman. Three High Court judges were vaccinated at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) this morning. They are Justice Zinat Haque, Justice Enayetur Rahim and Justice Ruhul Quddus. Earlier, on January 26, a nurse was vaccinated and the initial activities started.

Another 25 people were vaccinated that day. The next day, another 541 people were given in 5 hospitals in the capital. They are monitored to understand side effects. As there was not much of a problem, it was decided to start vaccination all over the country on February 8.
