News Desk: The Ministry of Education will hold a press conference on Wednesday (October 6) at noon to decide when the Higher Secondary (HSC) and equivalent examinations will be held. Meanwhile, a senior official of the Ministry of Education told the media on condition of anonymity that there are plans to start HSC and equivalent examinations by November 15 and preparations are underway for that. In this case, even if the subject is not reduced, the test number may be reduced. Each subject may be tested within 50 per cent instead of the full 100 marks.

It is learned that the education boards are also ready. They will be able to start organizing the test after 15 days.

An official of the ministry said that there is an idea to bring innovation in making routine keeping in mind the issue of hygiene. In that case do not take more than one test a day and take the test every day. Normally, after the examination of the main subjects, two examinations were held in the morning and in the afternoon.

As a result, if science was tested in the morning, humanities or business education was taken in the afternoon. It is being considered to keep a daily one keeping in view the issue of cleaning the center after an examination. However, he said the exams would be held on other days apart from religious and weekly holidays.

An examination controller of the board, who did not want to be named, said the examination center and seat plan have already been finalized. One by one students will be placed in a bench in the shape of ‘Z’. As such, if one is placed on one side of the first bench, the other will be placed on the other side of the second bench.

The third bench will be placed on the opposite side of the second bench. In this process, the number of centers has increased from 10 to 20 percent to provide seats. Each center has an average of 650 candidates.

Another test controller said that before the start of the Corona epidemic, the question papers of all the general education boards had been printed and sent to the field. Only in the last week of March did the printing of the Madrasa Board question papers end. The question paper was kept in the press for so long due to lockdown and corona situation.

Question papers have been sent out this week. The test will be taken on the question already printed. If the government decides to take the test in partial numbers, the instructions will be given to the central secretaries in the morning. Accordingly, they will inform the students.

The HSC and equivalent examinations were scheduled to be held from April 1, but were postponed due to the Corona epidemic. The country's educational institutions have also been closed due to corona.
