News Desk: Half tickets for 50 percent of the train seats will be available at the counter. From today, Bangladesh Railway will sell 50 percent of these tickets through the counter. The remaining half 25 percent can be issued on mobile apps, online and mobile.

It is learned that tickets can be issued through counters from 8 am and as per the current rules, through apps, online and mobile from 6 am.

Earlier on Monday (September 7), Bangladesh Railway Deputy Director (TC) said. This information has been given in a notification signed by Nasir Hasan Khan. Bangladesh Railway has decided to start selling tickets at the counter after being closed for about five and a half months due to Corona situation.

According to the notification, 50 per cent of the total seats sold in a particular category in favor of a station will be issued through counters, apps, online and mobile if the number of tickets is more than six. If the number of tickets is less than six, it will be issued only through app, online and mobile.

In this case, 50 per cent of the total number of seats in each train should be calculated by deducting 2 per cent of the reserved seats in favor of the officers and employees of Bangladesh Railway. Apart from that, tickets not sold at the counter and app, online and mobile quotas can be issued from any medium 120 hours before the departure.
