Global Covid-19 death toll reaches to 697,189

A total of 697,189 people died from coronavirus worldwide in the  213 countries and territories since the virus emerged in Wuhan of China last December, according to latest data from worldometer.

So far, 18,443,484 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus  till Tuesday (Bangladesh Time 10:35 am). Of them, 11,672,917 patients have been considered recovered, the source said.

Apart from this, the number of active cases are 6,073,378.

Among the coronavirus affected countries, the US has gone up to 158,929 deaths, followed by Brazil with 94,702, Mexico  48,012, UK 46,210, India  38,971, Italy 35,166, France 30,294, Spain 28,472, Iran 17,405, Russia 14,207, Canada 8,947, Indonesia 5,302, Saudi Arab 2,949 and Australia 232 respectively, worldometer reported.
