Advance sale of train tickets for Eid trip has started from today

News Desk: On the occasion of Eidul Fitr, Bangladesh Railway has started advance ticket sales from today. The sale of tickets has started from 8 am on Sunday through the railway website and mobile app. The tickets for the next April 3 intercity train are being sold today. This information is known from the recently published minutes of the Bangladesh Railway on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. Apart from that tomorrow, March 25, tickets for April 4 will be given, tickets for April 5 will be given on March 26, tickets for April 6 will be given on March 27, tickets for April 7 will be given on March 28, advance tickets for April 8 will be given on March 29, tickets for April 9 will be given on March 30. 

Besides, sale of return train tickets will start from April 3. Tickets for April 13 will be available on that day. Passengers can buy tickets through Bangladesh Railway website (https://eticket. railway. gov. bd/) and mobile app. This time the total number of seats of the train departing from Dhaka will be 33 thousand 500. Railways will sell 7-day tickets for the first time in previous Eids. On the occasion of Eid, 100% of the tickets will be sold online so that people can buy the train tickets hassle-free. These tickets will be sold in two shifts. Tickets for western trains will be on sale from 8 am and tickets for eastern trains will be on sale at 2 pm.
