Chance of rain with gusty winds of 45-60 kmph in 18 regions

News Desk: The Meteorological Department has predicted rain with temporary gusts of 45-60 km per hour or rain with thunder in 18 districts of the country. This information was given in the weather forecast for inland river ports on Wednesday (20th March) morning. This forecast will remain in effect until 1 pm.

Hourly from west/north-west over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Pabna, Tangail, Bogra, Dhaka, Faridpur, Kushtia, Jessore, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Comilla, Noakhali, Mymensingh, Chittagong, Cox's Bazar and Sylhet areas, the river port advisory said. There may be rain or thundershowers with temporary gusts or wind speed of 45-60 kmph. The river ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.

Meanwhile, another notification of the Meteorological Office yesterday evening said that from Tuesday (March 19) 6:00 pm to Wednesday (March 20) 6:00 pm many places in Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Khulna divisions and some places in Barisal and Sylhet divisions and two in Chittagong division. -Rain/Thundershower with occasional gusty/gusty winds at one place. Also, there may be scattered hailstorms in some parts of the country. The day temperature may decrease by 1 to 3 degrees across the country. The night temperature may also drop slightly.
