Panchagarh arrested drug dealer with phensidyl

Panchagarh Correspondent: A drug dealer named Mizanur Rahman Mizan has been arrested with Fensidil in Panchagarh by Panchagarh Sadar police station. It is known that the arrested Mizan is the son of deceased Mominur Rahman Momin of old Panchagarh area. On Monday (March 18) afternoon, after all legal proceedings, he was sent to the district jail by the court.

Earlier last Sunday (March 17) night, he was arrested while selling phensidil from his photo shop Bhadai Ghar in Asia Distilleries area in Old Panchagarh area. The police said that he had been buying and selling various drugs including Phensidyl for a long time. He was arrested on the basis of secret information while buying and selling drugs.

Earlier, upon sensing the presence of the police, other drug buyers fled, but Mizan was arrested. Later, 4 bottles of Phensidil and 10 empty bottles of Phensidil were seized from him. After the arrest, a case was filed against him under the Narcotics Act and sent to jail.

Panchagarh Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC, Investigation) Ranju Ahmed confirmed the matter and said that the accused Mizan has been involved in drug dealing for a long time. He has 14 previous cases against him. At the same time he is a known drug dealer of Panchagarh. After filing a case against him under the Narcotics Act, he was sent to the district jail through the court.
