Two more died of burn injuries in cylinder explosion in Gazipur, death toll rises to 5

News Desk: Ariful Islam (35) and Mohidul (24) died after gas cylinder explosion in Konapara area of ​​Kaliakor, Gazipur. The death toll in this incident has increased to five.

Ariful Islam and Mahidul  died at the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery at around 5:00 am on Sunday (March 17).

Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute's resident doctor Dr.Tariqul Islam confirmed this.

He said that Ariful Islam died in the intensive care unit (ICU) on Sunday at around five o'clock in the morning with 70 percent burns. On the other hand, Mahidul died around 7:30 am with 95 percent burns.

Dr. Tariqul Islam also said that in this incident Mansoor Ali died on Saturday morning, Solaiman Molla on Friday morning and child Taiba died in the evening. Five people including children have died in this incident so far. He said that the condition of others is also alarming.

Ariful Islam of Elaipur village of Bagha upazila of Rajshahi. Abdur Razzak is the son of Biswas. He lived on rent in Konapara area of ​​Kaliakor. On the other hand Mahidul was the son of Md. Sabed Ali Khan of Sirajganj Shahajadpur Police Station, Virakhola Village .
