Schedule of Argentina's two friendlies announced

Sports Desk: Argentina was supposed to play two friendly matches with two African countries, Nigeria and El Salvador, during their visit to China. However, the Asian country canceled two matches due to Argentina captain Lionel Messi not playing for Inter Miami in Hong Kong. As a result, the venue of both the matches was moved to the United States. The schedule announced by Argentina Football Federation (AFA).

Football's governing body, Albileste, announced the schedule for the upcoming two matches in a statement on Thursday. 

Lionel Scaloni's Argentina will face El Salvador on March 22 and Nigeria on March 26. The first match will be played at the Lincoln Field Stadium in Philadelphia and the venue for the next match will be the Coliseo Stadium in Los Angeles.

The Copa America will be held in the United States next June. Before that, the world champions wanted to play a match with two European superpowers. However, with the Euro Championship ahead, no team was found to have an empty schedule. So in the end, they set up a friendly match with one of the two biggest teams playing in the African Cup of Nations.
