I won't do any more movies: Mahi

Entertainment Desk:  Dhakai movie heroine Mahia Mahi has become an independent candidate from Rajshahi-1 (Godagari-Tanore) constituency in the 12th National Assembly elections. The actress is busy with the election campaign. Plowing the polling field. Giving various promises to the voters.  

Meanwhile, common people are excited to see the heroine who has been seen on the big screen for so long. A woman voter said to Mahi when she went to Gogram Union to vote on Tuesday, 'After the vote, the leaders leave the country, but we will not see it! The way the voter goes to the people before, let's see it like this after the vote.'

In response to the woman voter's question, Mahi said, 'My home is Mandmala. I will stay here. I will not do any more movies. I have a child, a family. I will be with you now.'

Mahi has been playing an active role in politics for the past few years. He wanted to be a candidate of Awami League in the next January 7 election. But as the party did not nominate him, he entered the polls as an independent candidate.
