The High Court ordered model Mau to surrender to the lower court

Entertainment Desk:  The High Court has directed the model Mariam Akhter Mou to surrender to the lower court in the case of drug and black mailing.

On August 1, 2021, Mau Akhtar was arrested along with various types of drugs including liquor, Yaba, in a raid at his residence on Babar Road, Mohammadpur. After his arrest, a drug case was registered against him at Mohammadpur police station in the capital.

At that time, the police said, Mou used to develop relationships with children of upper-class families in the name of modeling. After that, he would call them to his house on the pretext of partying. He used to take various types of drugs including alcohol and take 'offensive' pictures there. Later he used to blackmail them by showing them money or various benefits.

Sources related to DB's investigation said that Mau had 11 marriages. Her last husband is a director of a financial institution. He used to marry rich people. After grabbing a large amount of wealth, he married another person.  

Although he has no visible source of income, he owns a luxurious five-storey house in Mohammadpur. There are also three expensive cars from the Nexus, Pajero and Toyota brands.  

Investigators have alleged that Mou used to steal crores of rupees by blackmailing under the guise of modeling profession. Some evidence of his involvement in drug and illegal trade has already come to the hands of the detectives.  

The DB police came to know that Maur has half a hundred beautiful young women under his control. They used to trap rich people and record videos. He threatened to spread the video on social media without paying. In this way, he stole a huge amount of money from many people.  

A mini bar is seen next to the drawing room when entering the house. Detectives recovered five packets of Yaba tablets from a drawer in the bedroom inside the house. Apart from this, at least a dozen foreign liquors were recovered from another dressing room inside that bedroom.
