Brokerage is not Japa politics: GM Quader

News Desk:  Chairman Jatiya Party (JPA) Golam Mohammad (GM) Quader has demanded free, fair and acceptable elections.

He also said, "I want to ensure voting rights of people. Don't want EVM. There can be friendship with someone in politics. But Jatiya Party will not be a slave to anyone. Brokerage is not Zapa politics.”

GM Quader said these things in an exchange meeting with the leaders and activists of Mymensingh District Japa at the party's Banani office on Sunday (October 9).

In the meeting presided over by Jatiya Party's Mymensingh Divisional Additional Secretary General Member of Parliament Fakhrul Imam, the opposition deputy leader said, "Small trees cannot grow under the shade of big trees. If you are not under the shade of a big tree, there will be storms. It has to be faced. "Doing politics as someone's broker or servant does not earn respect."

Addressing his party leaders, GM Quader said, “Unfortunately, some of us think that a party will rig the election and make them MPs by shortcut method. They are germs for the National Party. They should either leave the National Party or be reformed.”

Former Member of Parliament of Mymensingh-5 Constituency Salahuddin Mukti, who is known as a loyal supporter of Roshan Ershad, also spoke in support of GM Quader.

Salahuddin said, "The Jatiya Party will be destroyed due to Roshan Ershad's wrong decision, we will not accept it. 99.99 percent of Jatiya Party leaders and workers are united under the leadership of GM Quader in Mymsingh.
