News Desk: General Secretary of Awami League Obaidul Quader said that BNP is lying about the development of the country for fear of losing the politics of votes.

He said this to BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir during a briefing at his residence on Sunday (October 9).

If they want a change in power, Awami League general secretary urged the BNP to prepare for the election without declaring to prevent and resist the election and said, avoid conspiracy to come to power in undemocratic ways and the people will decide who will come to power and who will not.

Obaidul Quader also said to the BNP leaders, you don't have to remove anyone, if the people don't want it, the election will decide who will move and who won't.

Referring to the BNPE champion of political oppression and minority persecution in this country, Obaidul Quader said that the people have not forgotten the record of torture they set after coming to power in 2001, the horrible situation they created.

He said that BNP, the main sponsor of communal violence, has never respected religious freedom.
