He said, "(October 8) at 2.30 am on Saturday, a border security patrol of Kharankhali BOP under BGB's Teknaf Battalion (2 BGB) was located approximately 200 yards north of BRM-15 in an area called 4.5 km. was carrying out regular patrolling operations. At that time the patrol saw two persons crossing Naf river towards the embankment and suspecting their movement challenged the patrol. As soon as the persons sensed the presence of the BGB patrol, they dropped a bag they were carrying and swam under the cover of night and quickly fled into the interior of Myanmar. The patrol team reached the spot and conducted a search operation and recovered a plastic bag left by the smugglers. 2.120 kg of ice (crystal meth) and 30,000 pieces of Yaba tablets were seized from the recovered bag. Seizure value of seized drugs is Tk 11 crore 50 lakhs. Later, the patrol conducted raids in the said area till 3 pm, but none of the smugglers or their accomplices could be arrested. On the other hand, on Saturday (October 8) at 5:30 am, during the regular search operation at Hoikang Checkpost under Teknaf Battalion (2 BGB), when the BGB members on duty approached the check post, when the BGB members on duty signaled to stop for search, the driver of the easy bike disobeyed the signal and moved forward quickly. by trying When the duty patrol chased the easybike, at one point the driver jumped from the easybike while it was moving and fled towards the neighboring village and the easybike lost control and fell down in the paddy field on the side of the road. The patrol team reached the said place and conducted a search operation on the Easybike and recovered a plastic bag from under the seat. 50,000 pieces of Yaba tablets were seized from the recovered bag. The Ezibike was also impounded for allegedly carrying illegal drugs. Seizure value of seized drugs and easy bike is Tk 1 crore 51 lakh 50 thousand. Teknaf Battalion (2 BGB) captain Lt. Col.
