The examination of four subjects in Dinajpur board has been postponed due to leaking of questions

Salah Uddin Ahmed, Dinajpur: Exams in four subjects of SSC under Dinajpur Education Board have been postponed in connection with question paper leak. On Tuesday night, the police arrested 4 teachers who were involved in the question leak. Dinajpur Education Board Chairman Prof. Kamrul Islam said that due to question leak, the 2022 SSC exam has been extended for mathematics (109), physical science (136), agricultural science (134) and chemistry (137). He said that the new routine will be announced soon for taking the joint examination and the result will be announced at the scheduled time. They will set up a committee to investigate the incident along with taking legal action against those involved. Incidentally, there was a complaint of leakage of question papers of English first and second papers of the ongoing SSC examination from an examination center in Bhurungamari upazila of Kurigram. In view of this, Dinajpur Education Board Chairman Prof. Kamrul Islam, Secretary Prof. Zahir Uddin, Kurigram Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Rezaul Karim, Superintendent of Police Al Asad Muhammad Mahfuzul Islam, District Education Officer Shamsul Alam and others concerned went to Bhurungamari. Later, the head teacher and central secretary of Nehal Uddin Pilot Girls High School of the upazila, Lutfar Rahman, assistant teacher of English subject Russell and part-time teacher of Islamic education subject Zebair were arrested on Tuesday evening and taken to the police station. In the interrogation, the suspects found the truth of their involvement in leaking questions. The examination control committee filed a case against them in the police station at night. In view of this, Dinajpur Board has added four subjects of examination, the concerned confirmed. The Board of Education will soon release the revised routine for taking the joint examination. On the other hand, there has been concern among the examinees and their parents regarding the examination delay.
