Ehsan Rana, Faridpur: In the case of money embezzlement, the former executive director of Faridpur's non-governmental development organization Palli Pragti Sahak Samiti. Court sent Oliar Rahman Khan to jail. On Thursday afternoon, Faridpur's Chief Judicial Magistrate Court Judge Abdul Hamid ordered to send him to jail. According to court sources, a case was filed in his name by the current Acting Executive Director of the organization, Kuddusur Rahman, for embezzling Tk 50 lakh of gratuity from the officers and employees of Palli Pragti Sahih Samiti. Which Case No: Sadar CR-844/2022. Olyar Rahman was on bail for 6 weeks from the High Court in this case. He applied for bail in the Chip Judicial Magistrate Court of Faridpur through a lawyer on Thursday afternoon. After the hearing, the court denied him bail and ordered him to be sent to prison. Advocate Biswajit Ganguly, the plaintiff's lawyer, said that the former executive director of Palli Pragti Sahak Samiti Birmuktijoddha. Three cases of embezzlement have been filed against Oliar Rahman Khan so far. The lawyer for the plaintiff also said that some other cases are under process.
