5 dengue patients died in one day in the country

News Desk: 5 more dengue patients have died in the last 24 hours in the country. During this time, 284 patients were admitted to the hospital due to dengue. With this, the number of dengue patients admitted in various hospitals of the country has increased to 850.

This information has been reported from the regular dengue report of the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health on Tuesday (September 6) about the situation across the country.

According to the report, 224 of those newly admitted to the hospital due to dengue are residents of Dhaka. At this time, 60 people were newly admitted to hospitals outside Dhaka due to dengue. Currently, out of the total 850 people admitted in the hospital, 711 people are admitted in various government and private hospitals in Dhaka. And a total of 139 patients are admitted outside Dhaka.

A total of 7,397 patients have been admitted to the hospital from January 1 of this year to today (September 6). Among them, 6 thousand 48 patients were admitted in Dhaka and 1 thousand 349 patients were admitted in different districts outside Dhaka.

Out of the total dengue patients, 6 thousand 516 people have recovered and left the hospital so far. Among them, the total number of discharged patients in Dhaka is 5 thousand 324 and the total number of patients discharged outside Dhaka is 1 thousand 192. Meanwhile, 31 people have died due to dengue so far this year.

It is known that only 126 dengue patients were admitted to the hospital in the month of January this year. Then 20 people were admitted in February, 20 people in March and 23 people in April. From May onwards, the infection started to rise slightly. In that month, 163 people were admitted to the hospital due to dengue. In June 737 people, in July 1 thousand 571 people and last month (August) maximum 3 thousand 521 people were admitted to the hospital.

So far in September, the number of infections has reached 850.
