Sensational Shihab murder case: 4 teachers granted 3 days remand

Md. Rashed Khan Menon (Russell), Tangail: The court granted remand for 3 days to the four accused in the murder case. Tangail Chief Judicial Magistrate Court Court Inspector Tanveer Ahmed confirmed the matter. He said that on September 5, to unravel the mystery of the Shihab "murder" case, CID investigation officer Arif Faisal applied for the remand of the accused for 7 days. After the hearing, Tangail Chief Judicial Magistrate Court Senior Judicial Magistrate Shamchul Alam gave this order. The accused who have been remanded are - Accused No. 2 Biplab (30), Accused No. 3 Ashraf (30), Accused No. 4 Masum (40) and Accused No. 6 Bijan (40) of the case. Shihab's mother and relatives were spoken to on September 6 in front of the CID office. The atmosphere was heavy with the loud cries and cries of Shihab's mother, as well as the crowd of people. It is to be noted that earlier on August 10 (Wednesday) afternoon, they surrendered in the court of Tangail District and Sessions Judge Masud Parvez and requested bail through their lawyer. Later, after hearing the arguments of the lawyers for both sides, the learned judge denied them bail and sent them to jail. On June 20, Shihab Mia's "cash" was recovered from the seventh floor of the residential building of Srishti Academic School in Suri Bagan area of ​​the city. From the beginning, the child's family was accusing him of murder. A wrongful death case was filed in Tangail Sadar Police Station at the initial stage of the incident. After the post-mortem report was published, the RAB detained seven teachers and the police detained two teachers for questioning on Sunday afternoon. Later RAB released seven of them as they did not get any important information from them. Later on June 27, the mother of the deceased Shihab filed a "murder" case against 6 people in Tangail Sadar Police Station as the plaintiff. Police arrested teachers Nasir and Abu Bakkar before the case, but released Nasir as he was not named in the case.
