Heat will increase all over the country, low pressure may be created in the sea

News Desk: The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has said that the temperature may increase further as the rain decreases. As a result, heat wave may start in different parts of the country on Wednesday itself. Apart from this, another low pressure may develop in the Bay of Bengal in the next three days, the Meteorological Department has also said.

Dhaka, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh and Khulna divisions were rainless in the last 24 hours from 6 am on Tuesday to 6 am on Wednesday. Sylhet received the highest rainfall of 24 mm during this time.

In the last few days, two low pressures formed in the Bay of Bengal and later both became depressions and became inactive over the Indian territory. Due to this, the rain increased in some places including southern part of Bangladesh.

Meteorologist Md. in the forecast for the next 24 hours from 9 am on Wednesday. Omar Farooq said, there may be light to moderate rain or thunder with gusty wind at two places in Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions.

At this time, the day temperature may rise slightly across the country and the night temperature may remain almost unchanged, said Omar Farooq, adding that a low pressure may develop in the North Bay of Bengal in the next three days.

The weather forecast for the country's inland river ports till 6 pm on Wednesday has said temporary gusty winds of 45 to 60 km per hour from south or southeast over Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, and Sylhet regions. There may be rain or thundershowers. The river ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
