Student gathering in front of the press club

News Desk: A rally is being organized by the nationalist student party demanding the release of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia and her treatment abroad. The pre-announced rally began in front of the National Press Club at 10am on Saturday (December 4). BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will address the rally as the chief guest.

Chhatra Dal president Fazlur Rahman presided over the meeting and general secretary Iqbal Hossain Shyamal was present at the rally. Majdul Islam, KSM Musabbir Shafi, Omar Farooq Kawsar, Pavel Sikder, Joint Secretary Aminur Rahman Amin, Shah Nawaz, Mohin Uddin, Tanzil Hasan, Joint General Secretary Sultana Jasmine Jui, Acting Office Secretary Abdus Sattar Patwari, Organizing Secretary Saif Mahmud. Convener of DU Chhatra Dal Rakibul Islam Rakib and Member Secretary Aman Ullah Aman.

From 9 am onwards, thousands of leaders and activists of various colleges and universities of Dhaka metropolis took to the streets in front of the press club and chanted slogans demanding the release of Khaleda Zia. Leaders are asking Mike to keep the traffic moving on the road by announcing after a while.
