If anyone above the age of 16 is missing, the CTTC should be informed: DMP Commissioner

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner has directed to inform the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) Unit of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police if any person above the age of 18 is missing from home or has a general diary (GD) at the police station. Shafiqul Islam.

He gave the instructions to the police officers present at the award ceremony for the best at a monthly crime review meeting at the DMP headquarters on Wednesday (August 18th).

He said if someone's child suddenly leaves the house without telling anyone, it is necessary to inform the police station immediately. If any person above the age of 18 is found missing from home or if there is a GD in the police station, the information should be informed to the CTTC unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police.

Addressing the police officers present at the meeting, the DMP commissioner said the situation was going to return to normal as the lockdown in the country was relaxed. We have to keep a watchful eye so that law and order does not deteriorate. The real culprit must be brought under the law. Everyone in charge has to fulfill their responsibilities properly. Everyone must work more relentlessly to prevent crime in Dhaka city.
