Coronavirus: 11 more died in one day in Chittagong, 438 identified

News Desk: 11 more people have died in Chittagong in the last 24 hours due to coronavirus infection. With this, the total number of deaths in the district increased to one thousand 139 people.

At the same time, 438 more people were identified as Corona. Through this, the total number of identities in the district stood at 95,517.

A report released by the Chittagong Civil Surgeon's Office on Tuesday (August 18th) revealed this information.

Dr. Civil Surgeon. Rabbi Sheikh Fazle said that in the last 24 hours, samples of 2,250 people were tested in different labs in Chittagong and corona germs were detected in the bodies of 436 people. Of these, 269 are from the city and 159 from the upazila.

He added that in the last 24 hours, 84 people were diagnosed with corona in Chittagong University Lab, 128 in Fauzdarhat BITID Lab, 6 in Chittagong Medical College Lab, 10 in Chittagong Veterinary University Lab and 26 in Chevron Hospital Lab.

At the same time, 21 people in Chittagong Maternal and Child Hospital Lab, 10 people in General Hospital RTRL Lab, three people in Medical Center Hospital Lab, 34 people in Epic Health Care Lab, 30 people in antigen test and four people in Cox's Bazar Medical College Lab were diagnosed with corona.
