Today (Tuesday) rain may fall in some areas of Rangpur. This information was given by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Tuesday (April 26).

Meteorologist of the Meteorological Department Ruhul Quddus said it may rain with strong winds towards Rangpur from this afternoon. Besides, there is a possibility of rain in Sylhet during the day or night. He said that there is a possibility of light to moderate rain at any time at this time.

Due to the intense sun, water vapor can take the form of clouds. However, there is a possibility of light to moderate thunderstorms from April 30 to the first week of May. In addition, the amount of rain may gradually increase. The weather forecast for the next 24 hours said that the weather across the country may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy skies.

However, there is a possibility of rain or thunderstorm in one or two places of Rangpur and Sylhet divisions. Besides, mild to moderate heat wave is prevailing over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and may continue.

Day and night temperatures across the country may remain almost unchanged. In the last 24 hours, the highest temperature recorded in Jessore was 39.8 degrees Celsius. Besides, temperatures above 39 degrees were recorded in Dhaka, Rangamati, Rajshahi, Khulna, Mongla and Chuadanga areas.

Temperatures in most parts of the region have risen above 40 degrees Celsius in the past few days. As such, the intensity of the temperature has decreased a lot.

The weather forecast for the next 72 hours said that there is a possibility of rain or thunderstorms towards the end of this period. In the synoptic state, it is said that the increase in light pressure is located in West Bengal and adjoining areas.
