News Desk: Today is World Earth Day. The only goal of the day is to keep the earth alive by protecting the environment and nature. Every year on April 22, the day is celebrated in 193 countries of the world. This year the theme of the day is 'Restore Our Earth'.

Environmentally conscious people around the world will participate in a variety of activities today to draw attention to the need for immediate action to prevent climate crisis and environmental pollution to keep the planet safe and habitable.

In 1970, nearly 20 million people in the United States took to the streets to raise awareness about climate change. That is the beginning of the day. In 1960, US Senator Gelard Nelson introduced the day.

On the occasion of the day, Save the Environment Movement-Paba has organized a discussion meeting titled 'Challenges of Protecting and Restoring the Environment and Environmental System in Corona Reality' on Thursday (April 22) at 3 pm.
