Chance of thunderstorms with wind in three parts of the country

News Desk: In the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of a thunderstorm with wind in three parts of the country. As well as the ongoing intense pressure in multiple areas will continue. The temperature is likely to rise above 40 degrees Celsius somewhere.

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has given this information in the weather forecast for the next 24 hours on Wednesday (April 21). According to the meteorological office, the wind speed maybe 45 to 60 kilometers per hour at this time. There is a possibility of a Kalavaishakhi storm somewhere.

The forecast said that there may be temporary gusts or thundershowers in Rajshahi, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions. Elsewhere in the country, the weather will be mostly dry with partly cloudy skies. Meanwhile, intense heat is sweeping over Rajshahi, Pabna, Chuadanga, and Kushtia areas. Besides, mild to moderate heat waves prevailing over Bogra, Sirajganj, Khulna, Mongla, Satkhira, Jessore, and Rangamati areas, and Dhaka and Barisal divisions may continue.

Temperature data said day and night temperatures across the country could remain almost unchanged. Morning wind speed and direction in Dhaka is 8 to 12 kilometers per hour from west/south-west.

At 8 am, the relative humidity in Dhaka was 69 percent. In the next 72 hours, the weather is expected to change slightly. In the synoptic state, it is said that most of the western light pressure is located in West Bengal and adjoining areas. Its extension extends to the North Bay.
