Four thousand bottles of liquor seized from Hotel Fars in the capital's Paltan

News Desk: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation Department have seized about 4,000 bottles of domestic and foreign liquor from Hotel Fars in the capital's Paltan. The liquor was seized on Sunday (March 22nd) night, led by Abu Hanif Mohammad Abdul Ahad, assistant director of the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Department.

The Customs Intelligence and Investigation Department said this on Monday (March 22). According to the customs detective, a team of the customs detective and investigation department conducted a special operation at Hotel Farse in Purana Paltan on Sunday night based on secret information. During the operation, 565 bottles of foreign liquor, 3,128 cans of foreign beer, and 191 bottles of domestic beer were seized from a bar desk and store on the second floor of the hotel and a room near the emergency exit stairs of Level 13.

During the operation, the hotel authorities could not produce any documents related to the bar license, liquor import license, or purchase of liquor and beer. Customs detectives said legal action was being taken for the seized liquor.
