Ashulia Correspondent: Nepal's President Vidya Devi Bhandari came to the National Memorial in the Nabinagar area of ​​Ashulia to pay homage to the heroic martyrs of the great liberation war. He came to the National Memorial at 11:10 a.m. on Monday to pay his respects to the martyrs. He was welcomed by senior government officials including the Minister for Liberation War Affairs, State Minister for Housing and Public Works, GOC of 9th Infantry Division, and Dhaka District Superintendent of Police.

He later paid homage by laying a wreath at the main altar of the National Memorial. At this time a smart contingent of three forces gave him a guard of honor. Later, the President of Nepal planted a lotus flower sapling in the premises of the memorial and signed the inspection book. He left for Dhaka at 11:25 pm.

Strict security measures were taken at the National Memorial and its surroundings following the arrival of the President of Nepal. Nepal's President Vidya Devi arrived in Dhaka in the morning to attend a function marking the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the golden jubilee of independence.
