Janakantha editor Atiqullah Khan Masood is no more

News Desk: Atiqullah Khan Masud, 61, publisher, editor, and chairman of the daily Janakantha Shilpa Paribar, died of a heart attack. Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun. On Monday (March 22) at around 5:30 am, he suddenly fell ill at home. Atiqullah Khan Masud died on the way to a hospital in Bashundhara residential area.

After being taken to the hospital, doctors said he died before being brought to the hospital. Obaidul Kabir, chief reporter and deputy editor of Janakantha, confirmed the information to the media and said that he started having difficulty breathing at around 5.30 am.

He was then taken to the hospital. The doctor on duty there declared him dead. Daily Janakantha was published in 1993 under the editorship of Mohammad Atiqullah Khan Masud. This magazine was first printed simultaneously from several places in the country. Later, however, it did not continue.
