Record price of gold in the country's market, increased by 2916 taka

News Desk: The price of gold has increased in the market of the country. A record price of good quality gold (22 carat) will be sold at 1 lakh 14 thousand 74 taka.

Newly, the price of good quality gold has increased by 2 thousand 916 taka. The new gold rates across the country will be effective from Friday (March 22). Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) in a press release on Thursday informed about the increase in the price of gold.

It is said that the price of Tazabi (pure gold) gold has increased in the local market. That's why Bajus decided to adjust the price of gold. According to the new price, the price of one bar of 21 carat gold has been increased to Tk 1 lakh eight thousand 883.

Apart from this, the price of one 18 carat gold bar has been fixed at 93 thousand 312 taka. And the price of one load of traditional gold has been increased to 77 thousand 799 taka.

On the other hand, the price of silver remains unchanged. According to the category, currently the price of 22 carat silver is 2 thousand 100 taka. The price of 21 carat silver is Rs 2,660 and the price of 18 carat silver is Rs 1,715. And the price of one full rupee of traditional method has been fixed at 1 thousand 283 rupees.
