Dinajpur Correspondent: Education Minister Dr. A.N.M. Ehsanul Haque Milon has warned that anyone found to be involved in leaking examination question papers will face severe punishment that they "will remember for the rest of their lives."

Speaking on the issue, the minister said that a new law, the Nineteen Eighteen Act, has been introduced in Parliament to address question paper leaks. He added that if anyone makes claims or publishes reports alleging an exam paper leak, the police will immediately detain that person. An investigation will then be conducted to determine whether the question paper was actually leaked.

"We will not tolerate false propaganda that disrupts education and spreads rapidly on social media," the minister said. He also emphasized the need to install CCTV cameras in every educational institution to strengthen examination security.

The minister made these remarks on Friday afternoon while addressing a meeting at the auditorium of the Dinajpur Shilpakala Academy. The meeting was organized ahead of the upcoming Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations and brought together the heads of educational institutions under the Dinajpur Education Board.

Representatives from 213 colleges, 56 madrasas, and 107 technical education institutions—a total of 376 educational institutions across the Rangpur Division—participated in the discussion.

Also addressing the meeting were Professor Ilias Hossain, chairman of the Education Board; the Deputy Commissioner, and other officials.

During the session, several teachers highlighted the factors behind their institutions' strong academic performance while also raising concerns about various challenges, including the shortage of teachers and other issues affecting educational institutions. deputy commissioner;
