Diplomatic Correspondent: Rüdiger Lotz held a meeting with Khandakar Abdul Muktadir on Sunday, 12 April, to explore ways to further strengthen trade, investment, and overall economic cooperation between Bangladesh and Germany.
During the meeting, the Commerce Minister underscored Bangladesh’s robust export relationship with European markets and extended an invitation to German investors to expand their footprint in key sectors such as light engineering, textiles, and leather.
Ambassador Lotz reaffirmed Germany’s strong interest in deepening commercial engagement with Bangladesh. He emphasized the importance of fostering a level playing field to facilitate smoother trade and encourage sustainable business growth between the two countries.
