3 children died of measles symptoms in Rajshahi Medical College Hospital in the last 24 hours till yesterday morning. 25 children were newly admitted. The hospital authorities say that the outbreak of measles has increased compared to last week.
The spokesperson of the hospital in the afternoon. Shankar K Biswas told that children will be vaccinated from EPI centers of 30 wards on Sunday. He said that it is possible to vaccinate 8 thousand children with the stock of the city corporation.
On the other hand, two children have died in Kushtia today. 4 people died in the district due to this. More than 300 children have been admitted to various hospitals in the district with symptoms of measles, according to the Civil Surgeon's Office.
Besides, the outbreak of measles is increasing throughout the country, including Bogra and Tangail. The crowd of patients and relatives is increasing in the hospital.
