Hasan Masud still undergoing treatment in hospital

Veteran actor Hasan Masood, once a familiar face in television dramas and films, has earned a special place in the hearts of viewers with his performances. After a long hiatus from the camera, he recently returned to acting with the drama series “Tel Chhara Porota”. However, due to sudden illness, he was unable to continue shooting, and the project has been temporarily postponed.

Hasan Masood was admitted to a private hospital on the night of October 27 after suffering a ischemic stroke and a mild heart attack. Even after more than two weeks, he has not fully recovered. His illness has raised concern among fans and colleagues, who are praying for his speedy recovery.

Currently, Hasan Masood is under treatment at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH), receiving intensive medical care. His family and hospital authorities have maintained a degree of confidentiality regarding his condition.

The Actors’ Guild informed the media that Hasan Masood is still undergoing treatment in the hospital and is expected to need several more days to fully recover.

It may be noted that Hasan Masood initially joined the Bangladesh Army as a Second Lieutenant after commissioning from the Bangladesh Military Academy (BMA) and was later promoted to Captain. After retiring from military service, he pursued a career in journalism. His acting career began in 2003, and he made his film debut in “Bachelor”, directed by Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, immediately winning audience acclaim. Since then, he has acted in numerous dramas and films, gaining widespread popularity.
