News Desk: Electricity supply will be stopped for 4 hours in several important areas of Sylhet city on Sunday (April 19) due to source line construction work. This information was informed in a circular of Sales and Distribution Division-4 of Sylhet Power Development Board on Saturday (April 18).

It is said that for the construction work of 33 KV source line of 33/11 KB Sheikhghat substation of Sylhet Power Development Board, power supply will be stopped from 6 am to 10 am on Sunday in some areas covered by Pathantula 11 KV feeder and 11 KV airport feeder.

Pathantula, Shravani, Nikunj, Latif Manzil, Pallabi residential area, Madina Market and its surrounding areas under Sylhet city Pathantula 11 KV feeder and Lovely Road, Tapoban residential area, Varnamala School, Al-Madina Tower, Madina Market Bazar, Akhragli, Bagbari, Subidbazar area under 11 KV airport feeder. Surma residential area, Lake City and its surrounding areas will have power supply off.

However, if the work is completed before the scheduled time, immediate power supply will be resumed.

Expressing sincere regret for this unexpected supply stoppage, the Executive Engineer of Power Development Board Sales and Distribution Division-4 and other officials have sought the cooperation of customers.
