Tithi Opens Up About Her ‘Relationship’ with Alvi

News Desk: Tithi, the actress, has spoken out about rumors surrounding her “relationship” with Jaher Alvi. The controversy erupted after the tragic suicide of Alvi’s wife, Afra Evnath Khan Ikra, with widespread speculation that it was linked to an alleged affair between the actor and co-actresses Iffat and Tithi. Ikra’s family and her friends have also echoed similar allegations.

Recently, Iffat and Tithi, who are among the accused in the case filed over Ikra’s suicide, returned to the country from Nepal. There have long been rumors in the showbiz industry that Tithi had a romantic relationship with Alvee, a regular actor on the small screen. Now, she has spoken about it.

Addressing the rumors of a romantic involvement with Alvi, Tithi said that she has been working with him for a long time. “When you work with a colleague in an office for four or five years, you naturally develop a good friendship. I have said before that Alvi is my best friend in the industry. I have mentioned this in many interviews earlier as well.”

Regarding her return to the country, Tithi added, “Many are claiming that ‘Alvi didn’t see his wife for the last time and went to Nepal with his girlfriend’—this is not true. I returned yesterday (March 2) with the whole team.”

Speaking about the day Ikra died, Tithi said, “On the day Ikra committed suicide, we made many calls to book tickets. We couldn’t get a ticket the first day. The next day, tickets were arranged, and the whole team returned to the country.”

For context, on Saturday (February 28), around 11:45 a.m., Ikra, wife of actor Alvi, was rescued by her family after being found hanging. She was taken to Kurmitola General Hospital, where doctors declared her dead.

Alvi and Ikra had secretly married on November 9, 2010, out of love. The couple has a son named Rizik.
